Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen
In August of 2013 I started as Art Director for StoryBrand. A company that specializes in teaching a highly effective proprietary story-based marketing framework. Having been at StoryBrand since day 1, I have had the unique opportunity to lay the brand foundation and be a part of growing the company into what it is today. Over the years I’ve worn many hats at the company which has taught me all aspects of what it means to launch and grow a business. I’ve helped grow the company into almost 40 employees, boasting a client list of some of the worlds biggest brands.
In October of 2019 I was promoted to Sr. VP of Design and Technology and invited to join the senior leadership team. I began leading our team of creatives and developers. I have since been responsible for speaking into the development of all products, building brands, design assets, merchandise, art direction for marketing campaign assets, art direction for video materials, and UI/UX design of web-based applications.
Below is number of stand-out projects I’ve had the privilege to lead and work on throughout the years.

StoryBrand Certified Community
At StoryBrand, we launched a certification program that would train marketers and agencies on how to use the StoryBrand Framework — a repeatable messaging and marketing system to use with their clients. My team and I developed the brand for this new product, providing assets like, badges, marketing campaign materials, program and event specific merchandise. We strove to build an aspiration identity that felt sleek, professional, and somewhat exclusive.

Lead Generators
In collaboration with the StoryBrand marketing team’s lead-generating efforts, my team designed dozens of high-value PDFs over the years. Each needed to stand alone, but operate within the StoryBrand brand. It was a challenge to understand exactly who our target audience was with each PDF, then design those in a way that “stopped the scroll” and engaged that audience. These PDFs were an essential part of growing the company. Below is a small sample of that work.
Social Media Campaigns
Because StoryBrand is structured as a highly collaborative interdepartmental environment, I regularly partnered with the StoryBrand marketing team to design and build social nurture campaigns. Below are a select number of campaigns focused on providing value and further establishing StoryBrand as an authority in the marketing education market.
